About David and this Website

The creation of this website and its contents has been a long-term goal of mine, a product of many years spent advising adult entertainment establishments (cabaret) owners on matters pertaining to accounting, tax, valuation, and litigation.  I’m excited to be able to share this knowledge with you and create a place to discuss the topics that are relevant to this industry.

One reason for creating the website is my belief that once a person has accumulated significant knowledge in an area, and has mastered the subject, it then becomes the responsibility of that person to pass this knowledge on to the next generation.  Additionally, over the years I have had the good fortune to work with some very talented people which has provided me with numerous opportunities to participate in a variety of professionally challenging situations.  The adult industry attracts constant attention resulting in frequent disputes - from taxing authorities, local governments and litigious attorneys.  This makes it, despite its negative connotations, an ideal environment for a technically-oriented professional.  

I find that the cabaret owners are an interesting bunch - generally very intelligent and iconoclastic.  

These collective experiences have provided me with the opportunity to learn and grow professionally, and I'm grateful to share the insights with you.
